involvement in syria beyond enforcing the no-fly zone? >> the effort has been an international effort to try to bring as much pressure on syria to get a saw to step down. our primary effort has been dedicated to three areas. number one, try to provide humanitarian relief to the large number of refugees in turkey and jordan. we are providing significant humanitarian relief to try to assist those who have tried to escape the terrible tragedy in syria. secondly, try to maintain control over the cbw cites and monitor them to ensure they do not fall into the wrong hands. working with other countries in the region, we are making an effort to monitor the situation and to ensure that does not happen. as a result of that monitoring, we were able to issue a clear warning to syria not to take the step to make use of any of the cbw or there would be serious consequences. we still stand by that statement. thirdly, we are helping the opposition. not providing legal assistance but we are providing nonlethal help to the opposition to try to develop their
